These FP7 units (8000-8013) purchased in A-B-A lashups like C&O's F7s, were intended to be freight units capable of being pressed into passenger service whenever needed. These units were painted in the C&O's passenger paint scheme, and had steam generators. By early 1960s, some of the FP7 units had been repainted to the same blue-and-yellow scheme that was being applied to the F7s. No photographer listed on slide.
