Remarks & Notes
Doubleheaded GG-1s, their trucks white with sand, are leading a southbound manifest to Bayview or Pot Yard. Conrail is only 2 months old, so lead motor No. 4854 is still wearing Penn Central lettering on its flanks. Altoona/Westinghouse manufactured the 4854 in June, 1935, and it was still going strong here, 41 years later.
