| Swiss TV is making a series on the history of Gotthard and the different ways over and through the mountain. One possibility was by train, therefore a Steam Train was chartered. Mighty "Elephant" C 5/6 2978, the youngest steam locomotive of SBB, actually was built for freight trains. However at the End of July it took five historic coaches with about 300 passengers from Erstfeld to Biasca - with Swiss TV filming inside and outside of the train. |
