Remarks & Notes

The 4-4-0 Eb 2/4 # 35 was built in 1891 for the Jura-Simplon Bahn by Emil Kessler in Esslingen/Germany, for light passenger trains. It was later Eb 2/4 # 5469 of the SBB and withdrawn in 1947. Now operational and based in Balsthal, operated by the Balsthal steam group. Here it is on the turntable in Lyss during the steam days.
