Remarks & Notes

The rear helper units on a heavy Port of Los Angeles stack train slowly grind up the steep 1.4 % grade towards Yampai Summit as they enter Crozier Canyon. The sound of General Electric Evolution Series locomotives fill the air, till the sound of thunder rages over it. Lightning, from all directions, illuminates a dead tree and an old water tower that was used to provide water to former ATSF Crozier Station.
