Remarks & Notes |
A Sprinter passes through the active work zone near Princeton Junction as a new catenary pole is installed to the right. The new catenary poles are being installed as part of the New Jersey High Speed Rail Improvement Program. The program will be upgrading electric, signals, and catenary over a 23-mile stretch of track from Trenton to New Brunswick, allowing authorized trains in this section to operate at 160 MPH.
