| You may or may not be a fan of these new design EMD SD40-3 engines, but the former SD40-2 has been improved in many ways to make it better and last longer. The new cab was designed to withstand crashes better, it also was installed with a new control stand and produces 44 thousands more pounds of tractive effort. That's just to name a few of many upgrades... Today a SD40-3 sits on the point of Q679 at Main Street Connection, as it waits for a new crew. |
