A westbound BNSF coal train digs into the Austin Loops on Mullan Pass. The grade here is a compensated 2.2% and the many curves bring the train down to a crawl as the monster passes the new Austin Siding extension. The new extension allows two westbound and two eastbound trains to meet here...The 4 swing manned MRL helpers are behind the trees, while the rear DPU can be seen pushing hard on the rear of the train.
