Former Southern Railway FP7 #6143 (later 3498) now operates as Stone Mountain Scenic Railway 6143, pulling excursion trains around its namesake park near Atlanta. Stone Mountain itself is the world's largest single exposed piece of granite, and is the foundation of the Park, which is one of Atlanta's premier family recreation and entertainment attractions.
