Remarks & Notes
Amtrak's westbound Southwest Chief is running over eight hours late due to hitting a vehicle just east of Trinidad, CO. As a result, this provided for some rare daylight mileage for Amtrak across the Southwest region of Arizona and California. Here, the pair of P42s begin to gain speed out of Crozier Canyon as they pass through Valentine, AZ on a warm June morning.
