Remarks & Notes

A special Arrowhead Civic Club passenger extra operated by BN from Duluth to Iron River, Wisconsin for underprivileged children arrives at the depot. The kids would enjoy a day of swimming at nearby Moon lake before returning to Duluth later in the afternoon. This former NP line to Ashland was removed in the mid-1980s. Ex-GN GP5s (GP9m) 1365 and 1364 provide the power.
