| These three engines waiting for service in the BNSF Denver engine servicing facility have interesting pasts. NS 8360 is a Dash8-40CW and is the youngest of the three, having been built in 1991 for Conrail. BNSF 2273 is a GP38-2 and was built in 1973 for the Saint Luis-San Francisco Railroad before running for Burlington Northern and now BNSF. The blue EMDX 767 is a GP38-2 and is the oldest, having been constructed for the Penn Central Railroad in 1972. |
