It has been a rough week for NS in the city of Opelika. After a 22 car derailment on the previous Friday, a train/truck collision on Monday, now the local has rolled a rail and is on the ground this Thursday evening. So again NS managers and workers are back in Opelika to clean up another derailment, albeit a minor one. The tank car is just about to be placed back onto the rails as workers watch to make sure it sets down on them correctly. To see the next move of this long night, click here.
