Remarks & Notes |
Eight is enough? A BNSF Z train makes time at Adrian, WA with eight GEs (35,200 HP) on the point. It appeared four were working and the other four were being transferred to the Seattle area. The train was a full length train, but not abnormally long. This curve is where the former Northern Pacific "Central Washington" branch used to go over the GN mainline. The trestle footings in Crab Creek and fill are all that remain as seen in front of the lead unit. |
