A Four Locomotive Lashup Crossing the Raritan - NS 1702, NS 1700, CSX 4412, CSX 2798. This daily transfer train from Oak Island Yard in Newark to Browns Yard in Sayreville is typically lead by a pair of six-axle locomotives. It's not uncommon to see a single 4-axle locomotive added to the lashup as they are regularly exchanged between Newark and Sayreville. However, to see two 4-axle locomotives in tow is rather uncommon. A further treat in the lashup is NS 1700, an ex-Eire Lackawanna SD-45, which has recently been repainted in Eire Lackawanna livery.
