Remarks & Notes
Missouri Pacific number 74, eastbound out of Pueblo, Colorado, has a little extra help March 26, 1965, as GP18 520 leads a set of second-generation power east of Boone, Colorado, near the Santa Fe crossing. Wearing a simplified version of the grey and blue “Eagle” paint scheme, the 520 usually powers the local freight and perhaps is being sent east for maintenance or inspection.
