| Trains to Philly & Atlantic City
A westbound train to Philadelphia lead by an aging GP40PH-2B crosses over US Route 9 in Absecon. The fading painted banner on the side of the structure advertises rail service to Philadelphia and Atlantic City with directions to Absecon Station (Turn right at Route 30). A painted NJ Transit GP40 and Comet IV Coach adorn the banner; the very equipment passing overhead. The ornate structure was built in 1939 by the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines.
