| The local switches Pitcairn Yard. The ex-PRR N5c cabin car was just in the way during the switching moves. It was to be donated to the town of Pitcairn at the time, but was rejected by the town due to its deteriorated condition. They ended up with an ex-NYC bay window instead, which to some PRR fans was an irritation as it was painted up in PRR colors as well. The Actual caboose being used this day was the red ex-MGA bay window in the top right of the photo. |
