Remarks & Notes

A group of MLW/Alco switchers including S2 7094 rest between assignments in downtown Vancouver, BC in August 1978. The foreground track was used to turn the Canadian passenger train consist after arrival and unloading at the CP station across town. This yard serviced industries and handled servicing of CP's passenger trains and locos until the property was re-purposed for Expo 86. By that time the Canadian was operated by VIA using the CN station.
