| Colorado & Sothern operated this rotary snow plow from 1899 to 1965. As the rotary head spun around, snow was sucked inside a chute located behind the head and then it was directed out the side of the track. The head was powered by a steam engine located inside the car and the plow had to be pushed by three or four locomotives. |
