| The Kings were the most powerful 4-6-0 in Britain. In 1927 the first member of the class visited the US for the Baltimore & Ohio centenary celebrations. It was presented with a bell, that it still carries to this day. In this photograph we see KING EDWARD I one of three surviving members of the class of 30 locomotives. |
