Remarks & Notes 
A see-through E-44; note the utility pole visible through the gutted area behind the cab. Conrail has begun the scrapping process by removing the roof panel below the rear pantograph to allow access for yanking out the oil-filled main transformer with a mobile crane. The transformers were then loaded onto flatbed trucks for proper disposal elsewhere. The 4415 was built by General Electric for the Pennsylvania Railroad in July, 1961.
