Remarks & Notes
The Reading's first Alco Century C630, christened as the "Rocket II" (with a nameplate below the cab) heads west in this scene scanned from a slide from the collection of the late Hen Westenberger. 5300-5306 were built with "Tri-Mount" trucks; 5307-5311 had "Hi-Adhesion" trucks. Sister 5308 survives today as part of the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society's collection.
