Remarks & Notes
A764 (a local crew used to dog catch outlawed mainline trains) has taken over P923 (James Strates carnival train) and is easing into the north leg of Stanton wye to turn the flats and return to Taft siding, where they will back into the Strates home base, literally just behind the trees. The mainline is dispatched by CFRC (hence the Z-symbol), but the Stanton Branch is handled by CSXT, so the train is negotiating with two entities at this point. Used to be fairly easy to catch coal trains using this leg of the wye to-from Jacksonville, but with CFRC in the game now, coal trains are routed via the S-Line to the west and run via Lakeland, utilizing the south leg of the Stanton wye, once the rare shot, now with an automated switch. Getting any kind of train on the north leg of the wye is a good catch.
