Remarks & Notes

The Milwaukee Road has been a part of Soo Line for over two years when this photo was taken, but lead GP40 No. 2046 has so far escaped being "bandit-ized" by the Soo's patchwork repainting. The Spaudling Junction tower now resides at the Illinois Railway Museum.
