Remarks & Notes 
The Curve Leaving High Pass Siding - At 1,967 feet in length, High Pass Siding is the highest point above sea level on the Desert Line. Here, the track curves away from high pass towards Jacumba California and the Carrizo Gorge beyond. The view here at the west switch of the siding is looking east towards Jacumba California (Campo and the border is behind us at this point).
