It is the next-to-last day of service on the Waterfront Red Car Line in San Pedro, California, as the line will be shutting down indefinitely at the conclusion of operations on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. The line was opened in July 2003, and operated a pair of replicas of Pacific Electric's 500-class cars, and a restored PE 950-class car (#1058). Car 500, painted PE's early colors, approaches the Maritime Museum station on September 26th, 2015.
