| Loaded coal train makes its way east on the Princeton-Deepwater District in notch 8 on the trestle in Covel, WV.
This former Virginian Railway line from Elmore to PD Jct is said to have its days numbered with this being one of the last runs that will be seen on this rail line. It's speculated the supposed abandonment has to do with deteriorating conditions of many expansive trestles that would require millions of dollars to repair and along with the unfortunate decline in coal. |
