| UP 1817 and UP 1881 are fairly new rebuilds of SD40-2 engines to a SD40N designation. Many of the on line rosters still have these numbers assigned to B40-8 models.
These two were caught waiting in the UP's 36th Street Yard in Denver for their next assignment. |
