The Final Coat of Paint
After spending the afternoon sanding ME 23, the locomotive only has a few spots remaining to be masked before being painted into Morristown & Erie's corporate scheme. Painting began after sundown and continued through the morning to ensure the locomotive will be ready for next weekends open house at the URHS restoration facility. The United Railroad Historical society will be hosting its 4th annual open house and will feature ME 23 making its first public appearance in its new paint scheme.
