| After running hard from Roanoke to Lynchburg that morning, N&W 611 simmers on the mainline in front of the old N&W passenger station now the O. Winston Link museum while crowds arrive to see her depart for Radford, Virginia. If you look in the back ground you can she the haze of rain she out ran all the way to Radford but slammed into on the return leg to Roanoke that afternoon on 6/5/15 |
