A 164-car loaded ore train, symbol PH-683-B, from Carol Lake, Labrador City, is enroute to Sept-Îles, Quebec with Quebec, North Shore & Labrador AC44CW #421 leading SD70ACe 514 over the Ashuanipi River's Vallant Rapids. The QNSL has gone to primarily AC-powered ore trains, and mostly SD70ACe units, with freight and work trains utilizing SD40-2s. The C44-9Ws are currently congregating in Sept-Îles.
