Canada's "Rosie" After spending an afternoon making her CN Mogul look pristine, this Canadian "Rosie" takes a minute to enjoy the warm evening light that's bathing the Toronto Yard.
The "Rosie-the-Riveter" phenomenon was by no means unique to the US during the Second World War. As one of the allies with armies fighting along side the US, Canada too mustered as many able-bodied women as possible into its industrial machine to support the war effort. Portraying our Canadian "Rosie" at this Lerro Productions photo shoot is Laura, a professional model who was right at home in front of the assembled group of photographers.
