| Three BNSF General Electric locomotives battle up the 1.5 percent grade of Yampai Hill with intermodal containers from Memphis, TN to Los Angeles, CA in tow. You can hear the engines struggling up the grade for nearly ten minutes before the lead locomotive would round the curve. Even with a red signal less than a mile away, these locomotives are still running hard up the grade. |
