Remarks & Notes

While touring NRE's Silvis facility with an escort and proper PPE, we were allowed to look inside the cab of former Metra E8 516. 516 was built as CNW 5029A and still has the CNW cab signal equipment. The plywood was placed over the windows to help protect the glass, but has become rotten after many years.
