| M&E 16 idles adjacent to Hoboken Terminal during a Hoboken Festival event. For many years this event was hosted by NJ Transit at the terminal. It featured equipment displays, free train rides and various demonstrations. Morristown & Erie was usually an active participant, bringing not only their own equipment but also that of local historical groups for display. M&E 16 was most likely sitting out the festival but would be called upon at the end of the day to reassemble a consist for the return trip to home rails. Perhaps it was unintentional, but this unit was posed just right for good afternoon light. |
