CSX 4718 leads loaded garbage train Q710 alongside Central Avenue, just outside Kearny Yard. In the background is the Pulaski Skyway. Named after Casimir Pulaski, the Polish military leader who helped train and lead Continental Army troops in the Revolutionary War. The bridge opened in 1932 and spans from Newark to Jersey City. It is currently undergoing a multi phase rehabilitation project with a scheduled completion date of 2020 and an estimated cost of about $1 Billion.
