Remarks & Notes
By July 25, 1997, three weeks remained before the Union Pacific pulled the plug on Tennessee Pass in Colorado. Soon, trains like the AOAKS would would be gone from the Denver & Rio Grande Western route in favor of UP's Overland Route through Wyoming. Living on borrowed time, the UP 9160, SSW 9644, and SP 8549 pull 56 autoracks east over Diamond Fork crossing in Spanish Fork Canyon.
