| Norfolk & Western #611 makes her big debut on its homecoming trip from the North Carolina Museum of Transportation in Spencer,NC to the Virginia Museum of Transportation located in Roanoke,VA. Crowds of railroad enthusiasts and locals alike were out in full force to capture this historic event covering what seemed like every inch between. The fine and hardworking men and women at the NCMT are to thank for the restoration of this beautiful machine along with everyone who sent donations to help cover the costs. Most importantly may be Norfolk Southern and their CEO Wick Moorman for seeing this incredible rebirth through. |
