| 37409 sits at Preston awaiting departure time of the 10:04 service to Barrow In Furness. Due to a combination of poor long term planning by the Department of Transport and a shortage of passenger rolling stock, these 50 year old locomotives are back in frontline service - the British equivalent of FL9s being used on Metro North trains! |
