Mountain State Railroad & Logging Historical Association partnered with the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad and held it's 2015 Railfan Weekend May 15 through 17 at Cass Scenic RR State Park in Cass WV and over the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad from Cheat Bridge to Spruce. Under threatening Cass Scenic Railroad Heilser # 6 built in 1929 formerly Meadow River Lumber Company of Rainelle, West Virginia rolls over the old Western Maryland main at Spruce and toward Elkins with a freight train in tow.
