Remarks & Notes

Centuries ago, the Rother levels in Kent were reclaimed from the sea and the Hexden channel still weaves across the fen-like landscape draining into the nearby River Rother. Late evening sun silhouettes the diminutive 0-4-4 'M7' class Tank as it makes its way back to base at Rolvenden on the lovely Kent and East Sussex Railway.
