At nightfall on February 3, 2006, two Nevada Northern steam locomotives simmer in front of the East Ely, Nevada, depot. Both 4-6-0 No. 40 and 2-8-0 No. 93 are steamed up for one of NNRY’s winter photo shoot weekends.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
