Santa Fe’s Train 2 San Francisco Chief now has a green signal to proceed at Woodford, Calif. after a 2-unit set of SP helpers got in the clear, headed back to Bakersfield. Soon the Chief will be negotiating Tehachapi Loop on July 6, 1967.
