| The Chase Was On... - A midday local heads west on the Amboy Secondary crossing Vliet St. It's Monday and so that means this train is headed for the Freehold Industrial Track. Twice a week (M and W) the train runs to the west end of Freehold to the run-around track at Builder's General. Sometimes the train run through Freehold to the end of the line. The tanker car means that today the train will be running to the end of the line to supply Prestone (formerly Honeywell) with a car of ethylene glycol for the manufacturing of anti-freeze. The splat car means that the train will also be picking up an empty tanker car from Prestone and shoving it back through downtown Freehold to the run-around. With time to spare and clear blue skies the chase was on. |
