Morning fog is just about burned off as BNSF’s MSPOLAU freight crosses a calm Clark Fork west of Noxon, Montana, on October 2, 2014. Bracketing a trio of Montana Rail Link SD45s (Rebuilt by MRL and labeled SD45-2s) is a all-too-common BNSF C44-9W and a leased Union Pacific C40-8.
