With quite the crowd in attendance to document this move, EL 3372 the last surviving U34CH left its home in Garfield after sitting there for over 10 years on October 29, 2014. The unit is seen "leading" down Monroe Sreet, the only place in New Jersey where trains can still be seen street running. Unfortunately this move was likely the last time this line will see any movement for the foreseeable future as the NY&GL (respective owner of the branch) has sat dormant for years. The move went off without any serious problems and EL 3372 safely arrived on URHS property later that day. With the help from donations, the URHS plans to have the U34CH fully restored to operable condition within the next few years.
