| Here's one for the younger set who didn't get to witness a brand new EMD SD40-2. The UP 3488 (with new UP 3451 trailing) lead a Utah Railway Martin Turn west approaching Soldier Summit the afternoon of Sept. 3, 1978. The real prize was the mid-train helper comprised of NINE classic Utah Railway Alcos! |
