Remarks & Notes
A First Union Bank "Furbie" leaser is shoving on the rear of an eastbound CSX coal train at Tito, VA (just south of Jasper) on the first day of June 2002. First Union eventually morphed into Wells Fargo---but these units are still running in this paint scheme for another owner. Stating the obvious: this is a pan shot, taken while I stood on the shoulder of US 23, at about 1/30th of a second shutter speed (color slide film---Provia 100F--which was really good film). The unit is an SD40-2 internally, but an SD40 externally. Maybe an SD40-1?? :)

Pace and pan shots of trains. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
