Restored British Railways liveried A4 Pacific 60008 DWIGHT D EISENHOWER on display at the National Railway Museum, York.
The locomotive, normally resident at the National Railroad Museum, Green Bay Wisconsin, USA, had been returned to the UK for cosmetic restoration and to take part in The Great Gathering of the six surviving A4's to celebrate the 75th anniversary of 4468 MALLARD's world record breaking run.
